This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. VAKDIK LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom, is the data controller.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought.
Payment: handled by Shopify Payments and the payment providers at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
When you browse: pages viewed, what's in your cart, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address.
If you subscribe: your email address.
If you email us: whatever is in the message.

Why

To take payment, ship your order and handle returns — we can't trade without this.
To answer your questions.
To detect fraud and keep the store working.
To send marketing email, but only if you asked for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link that works.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that make an order happen:

Shopify — our store platform and payment processing
Our fulfillment partner in Enfield, England — to pick, pack and ship
Carriers — to deliver and give you tracking
Customs authorities — where a cross-border shipment requires a declaration

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not trade it.

Where it goes

We're a UK company and we ship from the UK, but our customers are in the US, the UK and the EU, so your data crosses borders. Transfers out of the UK or the EEA rely on an adequacy decision, or on Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where one is required.

How long we keep it

Order records for 7 years, because tax law requires it. Marketing contacts until you unsubscribe. Support emails for 2 years. Analytics data for 14 months.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. If you're in the UK or EU you also have the right to portability, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority — in the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office. In California you can ask what we collect and tell us not to sell it — which is easy, because we don't.

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep your cart and your session working; the store can't function without them. Analytics cookies tell us which pages get used. Marketing cookies, if we run them, measure ads. You can refuse everything but the necessary ones and still shop normally.

Children

This store isn't intended for under-16s and we don't knowingly collect their data. Some of what we sell is children's clothing, but we expect an adult to be buying it.
